# Add new Inventory Items

- select '**Inventory**' icon and Click "Add"

<li>Select item that has already been added into VandaManager</li>
<li>Input the following information:
<ol>
<li>Unit Cost - Cost of Medication</li>
<li>Any quantity on hand</li>
<li>Check and input expiry date of items on Hand (if any)</li>
<li>Any minimum stock (used in Requisition feature)</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Input costing information:
<ol>
<li>Select costing information:
<ol>
<li>Avg- average of all batches.</li>
<li>FEFO - First Expiry First Out</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Check UPC if you track UPC numbers</li>
<li>The rest of the data are for information tracking only.</li>
</ol>
